dR Log Murugesan - Consultant Plastic Surgeon

Mr Log Murugesan qualified from the University of Manchester Medical School before completing his training in Plastic Surgery in London, working at some of the UK’s most prestigious hospitals. He pursued sub-specialist fellowship training in Aesthetic Surgery at various clinics in London under the tutelage of eminent Aesthetic surgeons as well as working in Reconstructive Microsurgery in two of the world top 10 ranked cancer hospitals, Princess Margaret (UHN) in Toronto and the Royal Marsden in London. Mr Murugesan taught anatomy in St George’s medical school. He received a distinction for his laboratory work and thesis in regenerative biology at the Randall centre for cell and molecular biophysics in King’s College London

He also earned a Master’s degree in Aesthetic and Reconstructive surgery from the University College of London. He was conferred the illustrious Hackett Memorial Award by the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS) for his work on reducing complications in aesthetic surgery. He has a number of peer-reviewed scientific publications and is actively involved in scientific engagements, conferences and courses attending as a speaker, teacher, or delegate. Mr Murugesan is a fully accredited, UK-board certified Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons and he is on the Plastic Surgery Specialist Register. His registration number is 6145557

It is referring to men and women who have lost a substantial quantity of hair. It is not suitable for people who are found in the first stages of hair loss. At the same time, a good candidate must have a substantial quantity of hair in an area of the scalp. This area is usually the posterior and lateral parts of the head. A good candidate must also be a healthy person without major problems of health who does not take any anticoagulants and does not have any skin disorders in the area of the skull.

About 3/5 of the male population are candidates for such procedures and a big population of women after menopause are candidates as well.
